Hard to believe, but it is almost here! Due to a family situation, I haven’t been able to train at all since last Wednesday.
I hope to get a short ride in tomorrow and maybe a swim. It’s funny, but six days of doing nothing (other than a mile or so walk several days) has made me tired, stiff, and achy in my joints and back.
This Saturday, my birthday it so happens. I will be swimming 1.2 miles and racing my bike 56 miles sounds like fun to me!
Hope all my training and fitness before last Wednesday will carry me through. It would be a great birthday present to do well!
